This shad fly is part of The Pfeiffer Collection.
The Shad Queen is a very simple shad fly to tie up and can be tied in a multitude of color combinations. I would most likely omit the black eye when tying these in bulk, but I am also lazy. 🙂
Shad Queen Fly Pattern:
Hook: Size 8, 2x long
Thread: White 6/0 Uni-thread
Body: White Uni-Floss
Ribbing: Silver Tinsel
Wing: Hot Pink Kip Tail
Eye: Black Dot painted on top of head
