First Shad of the Season Contest- 2021/2022

It seems like the last few years we have had an early run of fish, with reports of shad being caught south of SR 50 as early as late October! Let’s get the 2021/ 2022 shad fishing season started early, with this season’s First Shad of the Season Contest! Can anyone beat our reigning champ Steele Doxtater? Will Cas Summers or Suede Langston take back the title? Will a new winner prevail? Only time will tell!

This year’s winner will receive their choice of a $100 gift certificate to Orlando Outfitters, or a box of shad flies tied by yours truly!
